The growth phase of natural eyelashes is divided into three phases:

Anagen phase - growth phase, catagen phase - conversion phase and telogen phase - resting phase.

The growth phase for human eyelashes is around 2-4 weeks. Then the catagen or transition/conversion phase begins - this lasts about 1 - 2 weeks. During this time, the hair stops growing and dies - but remains rooted in the lash line.

In the third phase - the telogen or resting phase - the hair root regenerates, this phase lasts about 5 - 6 weeks.

The activity in the hair follicle starts again, so that the hair develops anew in the growth phase and the old telogen hair is pushed outwards. The natural eyelash falls out.

In about 3 weeks, people lose 15-30% of their own eyelashes. We therefore recommend refilling appointments every two to five weeks.
